Qlts Syllabus

QLTS School offers preparation courses for the two elements of the SQE exams. Our courses combine comprehensive textbooks, video tutorials, mock exams, online resources and tutor support. We have prepared thousands of candidates for the QLTS exams on which the SQE assessments are based and have valuable experience in this field. BPP PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT QLTS courses are provided by BPP Professional Education Ltd One assessment provider - Kaplan QLTS Broad syllabus - Day One Outcomes (Parts A, C, D & F) Assessment format (over 7 days): Part 1: Multiple Choice Test (MCT) Part 2: Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE). Candidates initially must register with Kaplan QLTS and can then proceed to book and pay for the assessment with Pearson VUE. For further details see the Bookings page. Please note that, as the MCT is a computer-based assessment, if there are technical difficulties or other reasons why candidates cannot sit, such as adverse weather conditions.

Coronavirus impact on QLTS assessments

The next sitting of the QLTS multiple choice test is due to take place on 13 January, in the UK and other locations around the world. Together with Kaplan, our QLTS assessment provider, we are considering the impact on the exam of the UK-wide Covid-19 lockdown and changing restrictions in other countries.

The exam will go ahead as scheduled in locations where it is lawful to do so and with appropriate health and safety measures in place. Any candidate who wishes to cancel as a result of these developments will be entitled to a full refund.

Kaplan will be contacting all candidates as soon as possible to confirm whether examinations will be going ahead in individual locations.

The Qualified Lawyers Transfer Scheme (QLTS) helps you become a solicitor of England and Wales if you are already a qualified lawyer in one of our recognised jurisdictions. You can also take this route if you are a qualified barrister in England and Wales and have completed your pupillage.
